MacBook 5,1 (Unibody, November 2008).

I still don't understand how my current battery capacity EXCEEDS the original capacity, but I sure don't mind. :D

http://batteryuni************/

Your one stop shop for learning all things battery. Your current capacity is higher because cycling the battery a few times will work the chemicals to their full capacity. Additionally Li-on batteries start degrading the second they come off the manufacturing line. So the fresher your battery the larger your initial capacity is going to be, regardless of the manufactured capacity of the battery. Buy a MBP that's been sitting on the shelf for a year, the battery is going to have degraded a few %, the trade off you get for the high energy density of Li-on cells.

***EDIT***
Is there some sort of filter I'm not aware of? I'm trying to link to Battery University, eh just google it I guess.

Here's Mine.

Strange thing is, it was around 60% Health for the last 2 weeks, and then my charger died 3 days ago. Apple Sent me a Replacement, and the battery has been left completely empty for 3 days, and now its charging, and is at 97%! Kinda sucks as i was really wanting a new battery (Mines got a scratch :p)

@Sparky, Damn, i thought i had done well (Or its a Bug or something)

Even though my UMBP is barely a month old, poor old coconutBattery seems to get a slight bit confused about the age of my Mac lol... 10 years... Awesome ;) Obviously I have a MBP from the future...

Here's my MacBook Air's battery. I think it is doing pretty good, it hovers around 92-95% :)

Ancient Macintosh - 29 BC

Supposedly, my Mac is from around the year 29 BC. 2 years before "the Roman Senate's granting to Octavian the honorific Augustus" according to Wikipedia.

Application glitches aside, I'm very unimpressed with the battery. The Mac is actually only a little over 20 months old. And Apple, of course in their infinite wisdom, will not replace the battery. My next laptop will be an ASUS netbook, thank you very much...

For 200 loadcycles, your battery is doing very well. Asus won't replace your battery for normal use, and it won't be magically better than the battery inside your Mac.

And there's no use blaming Apple, they don't make the batteries...
