I'd loves me a 600RR, have you seen the newer color schemes for 2008? Wow is all I can say.

My favorite, the classic red and black.

Yeah I saw them the other day. They're very nice. I prefer something full ferring which is why there are a great number out there that don't appeal to me.

Racing's a lot of fun, 'specially where I ride (Manchester Velodrome - fastest track in the world :D). Have you done any race technique practise? If not, I highly suggest you try some Italian pursuiting as maybe first or second man to build up some stamina and speed. I should probably mention that I'm a pursuitist hence, pursuit is the best race in my opinion.

The great thing about pursuit is when you've built up enough stamina you can easily transfer it over to things like points races and kierans.

All good stuff really. :)

EDIT: I may as well post the bike I'm saving up for as I sold my little Cannondale number a couple of weeks ago. It's a LOOK Track 496 full-carbon frame, forks and seat stay mounted on a pair of Campagnolo high profiles (Ghibli rear, Bora front).

Whole set-up comes to a whopping £4,000.
Ok that is a drool-worthy frame. :jealous:

Just ordered yesterday at my local pro shop. :D

I can't wait for it to arrive. It reminds me of my old Specialized M2 that I destroyed falling off a cliff. Ned Overend must have frowned at my noobiness back in the day.

Definatly the Honda the black on black theme with the new 08 graphics really sets it off
That is sexy but probably overkill for someone who doesn't really go into the hills much. I need a new bike. :(

I don't own either but I want one or the other.
1st one is the BMW K 1200 R Sport in Cosmic Blue and the second one is the Honda CBR 600RR in Silver but I may want black instead.

I don't own either also but here is the one i have my eye on if i ever get around to owning a motorbike.

Triumph Speed Triple

2003 Suzuki Bandit 1200S. Almost bought a Kawasaki ZRX1200- had a GPz550 and a 305 back in the day and missed it. Saving pennies for a FJR1300.

Here's my bike, a 2007 CBR600RR. His name is "Nicky." As in Hayden, get it? Heh.

Here's my baby. My first was a Ninja 250, but a drunk driver murdered it.

Brompton FTW

Mine has a black rear triangle, which looks much cooler than the one above. It's nice having a bike that I can take on the tube, on buses, planes and also leave under people's desks / in the cupboard.

I also used to have a 1980 Honda Dream CB400, (almost as old as me!):

Don't knock it, it took me from Edinburgh (Scotland) all the way to Valencia (southern Spain) where I gave it away before flying back to London.

I'd love to see all the sports-bike enthusiasts ride across the country and tell me they can feel their legs afterwards...

some people actually like to ride their bikes ;)
