here's what i've been up to:
breakfast -
eggs benedict
mushroom and cheese omelette, roasted fingerlings
italian night
chopped salad - romaine, basil, bocatini, baby heirlooms, cannellinis, red wine/balsamic vinaigrette
homemade crab raviolis (i made about 60 of these). i throw them on the cookie sheet to set in the freezer and then i toss them in a ziplock to store.
said ravioli with a roasted tomato and garlic pink sauce
tiramisu for dessert
steak night
bay shrimp caesar
ny strip, salt crusted baked potato, asparagus with a béarnaise.
wifey's chocolate pound cake with cream cheese icing
our friend's lemon pudding with a hint of ginger
mexican night
gotta have guac
chicken tortilla soup
queso fesco enchiladas topped with cotija
taco, flauta combo plate
"mexican sundae" - cinnamon ice cream, caramel sauce, cinnamon chips
made some french dips for the Super Bowl
simmering the au jus
served them on grilled bolillo rolls. gravy was made from the pan juices.
and i'll throw in a midnight bowl of tonkotsu ramen for good measure
