That time of year. Can't believe it's only two weeks till Christmas.

Made the dough yesterday, baked today. Family recipe.

Made the colored sugar for them, too. Didn't feel like being overcharged at the store. Put them in some spare shakers.

A quick dinner before work.

Panko pan-fried tilapia with a chipotle-siracha mayo, ribboned asparagus citrus salad with almonds.

Took advantage of a decent December (for here anyways) day to make pizza my favorite way. On the grill

Prime rib with caramelized onions, coarse-mashed potatoes, and fresh asparagus. Balsamic vinegar, sour cream, and horseradish sauce for the steak. Tasty, but I fail at plating, lol. :) Oh, and the beer is Magic Hat #9.

as we wind down the final weeks of 2011 and things start getting super busy w/ exams, holiday preparations, family etc... i just wanted to take a moment to thank all the amazing people that visit and make this place fun to post in... in a funny way, i have come to recognize all of your user names now cuz of THIS food thread XD
