She just says not to bother.Recommend her to put together a wish list on Amazon. My wife says I'm impossible to buy for, so I came up with a wish list and give it to her.

Been married for 17 years. Think I'll stick with what I've got thanks.Trade you wives?
Got another for my list... Chemex coffeemaker with a Kone filter (not in pic).
Well, I don't have it yet. I plan to use the bleached Chemex filters. In my research, I read some comments about the natural filters adding odd flavoring. Is that what you're referring to? I'd love to try a Kone too, but looking for some input on that. Maybe I can test them out as Sur la Table.I'm a big user and fan of the Chemex (we actually have two ), but I suspect part of the taste comes from how the paper filters are processed/cleaned, it really makes a difference in the oils, peaty flavor, etc.
Have you tried the traditional Chemex filters vs. the re-usable Kone?
The natural filters take out much of the oil from coffee grinds, which makes the coffee really smooth and at times more flavorful. It's not the best option if one does not like their coffee really oily and bold, in my opinion. Still, I love mine and use it almost every day. I do say, if you don't have one, both a hand grinder and a goose-neck kettle along with a scale are a worthy investment.Well, I don't have it yet. I plan to use the bleached Chemex filters. Trying to understand your post. You're saying the natural filters make the coffee more bold? Your first and second sentences, as I am readying them, contradict each other. The natural filters take out much of the oil from coffee grinds, which makes the coffee really smooth and at times more flavorful. Well, they are great - as in there is a feeling of physical pleasure - to cook with, look fantastic, and the food tastes terrific. What is there not to like? They also last forever……and are very hard wearing. Easy to clean. And make you look like a pro in the kitchen…..
I don't have anything on my Christmas... Hanukkah, "Holiday Gift List". There really isn't anything I need or particularly want. I always appreciate a gift certificate to a nice restaurant. I think I prefer an experience than a tangible item.
Honestly, I have enough trouble figuring out what to get my family and girlfriend for the holidays, I don't have the energy to think of what I even want. Hahaha.
Maybe a nice Burberry quilted jacket would be nice?
Sorry about the confusion. The natural filters will not make the coffee bold.Trying to understand your post. You're saying the natural filters make the coffee more bold? Your first and second sentences, as I am readying them, contradict each other.

amazon has the black Solos 2 on sale for like $220 or the matte black studios for 265. Went to best buy and had them price match the Studios plus I had gift cards so I only paid $200 for them....I gave my wife an extensive list so she could have a ton of options.
