Using Comcast cable in Chicago. I guess I can't complain looking at most posts. Price is bundled with my TV cable bill (HD, DVR, etc) so I'm not even sure what I pay just for internet.

Some of the speeds above are ridiculous. But I have to wonder, at what point does it just not matter any more because the servers you are connecting to just don't upload that fast. Like, my speed is double what it was last year (via Speedtest.net), but I've noticed little increase in download speeds from most places.

Not bad. The router is saying 21.8Mbit, and I have a few background internet apps running on the network that will be pulling some bandwidth.


Really tempted to try out the work connection at 3am though. Despite what people say about the NHS, when the hospital is empty of staff the internet truly flies - I've seen 60MB/sec downloads.
