Mine is sitting on my dresser with a dead logic board. But I still use a G4 but it is a PowerBook. It is not that slow and it is faster than mom's 3 GHz thinkpad

The iJunk (iBook) will cut on and boot until a blue screen appears and it just hangs there. System Log says it is PCI and Graphics related. (this is when I boot it off my PowerBook's HD and it does the same thing off the Leopard install DVD)

Here's "Eleanor"

She has since had the photo's taken off of her don't worry...

How's the iBook working with the 10.5.6? How does it handle multi-task such as iTunes playing, mail, cs4 (light editing) and web surfing? What about watching a DVD movie or maybe a movie in DivX / XviD format? Lots of questions right?

Well if I'm honest I only really use now when I am at my girlfriends, although from time time to it does get a bit of a battering from me and GarageBand.

I did use it a while back a lot more for Mail, iMovie (semi-hardcore) and ichat and it copes ok, I had CS3 on it for a bit and gave up as it ended up spinning beachball too much!

I would say it's ok (and I mean a lot quicker than a Windows Laptop ;) ) if you are not used to anything but when I know I could do the same things a lot easier on one of the other Macs it gets a bit frustrating...

The best thing is how durable it is, I've dropped it 2ft onto a wooden floor 3 times now, spilt red wine on it and trod it and it still works fine :)

Any other questions ask away and I'll happily give them a try!

That looks like a sequel for "The Ring".

Right? You should see what else it did. Plus, that image wasn't static. It would slowly change to the negative, and the spot would expand and new ones would appear - all very gradually, too. Sometimes, it would have thin, racing horizontal stripes in B&W and they would get faster and faster and faster and faster and then turn to the weirdness in the picture.
