What's that iCloud icon you've got there?

It's the Cloud App from the Mac App Store. It's a file uploading and sharing tool.

Link to the background and ribbon thing?

Love your desktop!

Wallpaper set here: http://itnsltwn.deviantart.com/gallery/?offset=24#/d3cbsz4

Ribbon here: http://side-7.deviantart.com/art/Red-Ribbon-194590265

The ribbon is a GeekTool script. Download GeekTool from the Mac App Store. Launch it and drag the Image icon to your desktop. Inside the folder that you downloaded for the ribbon is a jpeg image of the GeekTool Image properties window. Just copy what it says in that jpeg.

BONUS ribbon colors here: http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=&section=&global=1&q=red+ribbon+geektool#/d394hre

Here's mine :)

And one with the dock in-view:

EDIT: Is there some way to put pictures in spoilers? It might be annoying for some people to just have huge images on their webpages without being able to control them, if you know what I mean. Just a thought.

That is geek tool. If you check back a couple pages you'll see my desktop, using geek tool as well.

With the one that shows the calendar , date and time etc, which .glet did you use?
Some of the ones I've downloaded are just blank, they show as though they are there, but nothing is there. I'll have to jump on their forum and find out why.

worked for a while on this tonight, background is cinema4d (boolean floor, textured with rainbow, a banji lens on top of the "cutout").
I've just switched to OSX and have found geek tool, I love to do my own stuff but for tonight these things have to do... (I know, the time is absolutely wrong at it's position, but so am I and I need to get to bed :) )

(and I know well about mixing two different perspectives, it's just for fun)

where did you get the apple icon? (finder)

I don't quite remember, I think it was just a google search. I tried finding the original in my files but I am not having the best of luck. I exported it from CandyBar as .png, so lemme know if it works or not. :apple:

I think yahoo broke it. There isn't an RSS link on their page anymore.

Haven't done one of these for ages! Here's my work desktop (since that's the Mac I use the most!) I've tweaked the colour of the built-in Lines wallpaper for a nicer shade of blue. The Dock is "New Dock" from MaxThemes. Geektool provides the info on the right-hand desktop, apart from the last box on the right, that's Adium.
