Imagine a dock on the left hand side of the screen, and that the image is cropped to account for the bezels on my monitors.

My MacBook tends to be plugged in most of the time so it's not really an issue for me, but I have to admit it can drain the battery with the app enabled.
It's also not very well supported anymore and no new themes have appeared in a long time now

Thanks for the info. I have mine plugged in mostly too but I would still rather just give it a miss if it threatens my battery life. Here's hoping for interesting things come WWDC and 10.10!
