On my iMac G5 (yeah, this is a pretty old computer, but I needed a computer with a bigger screen, and for basic usage, it's still work really fine, and for every stuff that require a powerful machine (or Intel one x) I have my MacBook Pro)

There are the basic widgets all over the internet. Most of them are tweaked by the end user. These are the geeklets (widgets) that are seen in my desktop screen shot above... start here and just play:

You might have to play around with the font size/color/etc to get the look you want on your desktop...
