Here's mine this week - the Classic Macintosh wallpaper built into macOS Sequoia.
Did you know: When choosing the Macintosh screensaver/wallpaper, you can select from a range of colour options. However, there's extra colours you can access which aren't normally available (such as the one I've chosen).
If you choose 'Accent', the colour of the wallpaper changes to match the systems overall accent colour, as set in Appearance settings.
Here's where the hidden colours come in. You may remember that the iMacs from 2021 onwards come with unique accent colours, which can't usually be accessed on any other Mac.
If you have an iMac, these unique accent colours are also reflected in the wallpaper when the 'accent' colour option is chosen.
If you don't have an iMac (or just want to try an iMac-exclusive accent that's a different colour to your iMac), you can use an app such as
Accents or a
terminal command. In doing this, you get access to these exclusive accent colours on any Mac, and consequently unlock the matching Macintosh wallpaper colours!
