New to this forum, and I figured I might as well jump in at this thread, 'cause it looked like fun... so here's the dock for my new (as of two weeks ago) MBP 15'':

Nice dock; where'd you snag the Firefox and Tweetie icons from? I'd love to find those!

Nice Icon, Mind to post the link?

As-is currently. I set it to auto-hide with slight magnification. Stickies and Safari are at the end because they're not kept in the dock but I do use them from time to time. I tend to launch apps with Quicksilver most times anyway so I could take more programs off, but they are useful for drag-and-drop operations.

Maybe I'm missing something, but, how can you, without a lot of difficulty, change the icons for text?

You have to do it one at a time; it takes more than a few minutes, but you get there. It helps if you have a trim dock. I have only sick icons on mine.

How do you change the background to grey? Is this the 2D dock? In Leopard?

At first I was doing all Macs. Then I used the Nanos. Which came out pretty cool.
Im going to try the macs now. I'll post pics in a minute

Thank you very much, only macs now? that will be sweet, sadly my candybar is giving my trouble changing all the icons in the dock so its not easy.
Edit: yey they have a new update today, hope that will fix those bugs.

I got the text issues worked out now, BUT, I prefer the dock on the left side. That then causes the issue of ANY color/format change won't stay in any other position other than horizontal. Any one been able to counter this issue?

Yeah it gave me some grief too. You just have to keep applying it.
Behold; In all its glory!

Here is mine, basically my docked apps and stacks (a lot of them yah =| )

Apps: Finder > Safari > Mail > Adium > Photoshop > Bridge > FCE > Appzapper

Stacks: Apps > Bluetooth transfers > *cough* > College stuff > Pics > Priority stuff > Temp crap that i don't know if i will keep (instead of having a messy desktop).
