Post Your Dock (2010)

There are many ways.........
1. Right Click on the App and choose get info, click get info on your new icon, and copy and paste to the tiny image in the top left corner.
2. Download CandyBar or LiteIcon.
3. Right Click on the App and go to show package contents, contents, resources, then replace the .icns file in there.
Restart/Log Out, all the new Icons should be there!

can someone help me change my itunes logo ? I changed the icon using candybar, but now I get the "png" icon on my dock. I tried changing that through the get info window, but it won't change
You need to download this app.

Then put the picture in the box and click the icon option. the drag the icon into candybar and change from there. Candybar will not recognize a PNG file.

thanks, i got it to work now
i tried changing safari and few others but they didn't work. the new safari icon I switched, only shows in that small window that pops up when I quit safari

Change it in Candybar, then log out and log back in. You may need to remove the old icon from your dock by using the "poof" method, then add it again through the applications folder.
