My 2010 Dock

Going for the aluminium and greyish look (since im rocking an Early 2008 MacBook Pro).

Finder, Mail, Chrome, Adium, iTunes. Apps, Downloads, Trash.

Mine's pretty basic,

Finder, Dashboard, Mail, Safari, Firefox, Opera, Adium, iChat, Microsoft Word, Stuffit Expander, Toast Titanium, Address Book, iCal, Preview, Itunes, iPhoto, Spaces, iMovie, iDVD, Quicktime Player, Garageband, iWeb, Time Machine, and Settings.

The Realplayer downloader is just open.

nothing special. But this is what i use on a daily basis. I use spotlight or the applications folder to open up the rest. (logic,garage band, iphoto ect)

If it isn't running, it isn't in the dock. And if it is, I don't see it anyway. I don't see a need for the dock.

Isn't it easier to add some heavily used apps to the dock for easier/quicker access?
No, I haven't used the Dock in the 2.5+ years I've had a MBP. I set it to hide within the first week of it getting in the way all the time. Spotlight, Quicksilver, and now LaunchBar are much easier and faster for launching, etc. I think launching apps via clicking with a mouse on the dock very cumbersome by comparison.

i wold have the doc on the left or right(maby) but its too small on the crt i have. also there is more appes in the application folder.

running osx 10.4.11 (tiger) on a single 1ghz powermac g4 with 896mb of ram and a gfx card with 16mb of vram.

Pretty boring now. I just finished my free trial of Candybar, I don't have a credit card to buy it, and I feel too heartless to pirate it. Woe is me :(

pretty straight forward. There is an HP printer utility icon there....and i LOVE onyx.
