Safari, Trash, and Finder were my favorites, took me a long time to find a Safari icon like iOS 7's but didn't have the outer edge

The trash bin is set to display the same icon even when empty so I don't feel the urge to empty it.

No software is really needed,
Copy the icon into your clipboard
right click on the application (from Finder)
Click "Get Info"
Then click on the icon (Top left corner)
Once it is highlighted, type CMD + V

I don't quite remember how I changed my indicators,
the FInder Icon takes more explaining, same with trash.
To change the actual dock, you want to download an application like Dockmod

Most of his icons are posted in the last few pages, but you should browse the whole thing cuz there are other nice options and similar styled icons to fill up what's missing

Visit http://www.maxrudberg.com. In section Misc you'll find two- and three-dimensional dock themes. I'm using Etched in both Snow Leopard and Mountain Lion. Instructions are inside the files.

CandyBar is the software needed but it doesn't seem to work on Mavericks.
