I don't know whats worse. The picture of the lube or the fact that someone can lose a BT keyboard...

When i get my Rebel XT in at the end of the week i may be able to have my wife snap a picture of a re-created setup similar to the one that i'm using now. I was thinking about it and imagine, 20 years ago would we have thought that we could be surfing the web on a computer that is a monitor and keyboard and CPU all in one (laptop). Much less be watching television in High Definition? The bad thing is as i lie here replying to this thread in the most extreme of extreme setups, my waterbed, i'm thinking to myself... I have a 12" laptop and a brand new xbox360, 42" big screen, and 300+ channels in my bedroom and all i can think to do is surf macrumors and watch Beavis and Butthead reruns on MTV2. That's the life... pics of my 'extreme' setup to come soon...

I didn't actually lose the BT keyboard. I was using that as an attempt to suggest just how untidy my desk has become.

If you look closely and/or zoom in, you can see that right underneath the "clouds", there's part of a circle that is a different shade of blue. I'm thinking something got removed...

I see what you mean about the change in the picture. Not sure if something would have been removed (what would have been there? some other clouds?)

Perhaps it's the image compression making a muck up of the clouds?

(Mind you, he replaced his head with a powerbook in the photo, so who knows what's going on in his mind :D :D )

My Powerbook was getting seriously hot while iDVD was doing its thing rendering my iMovie video and I was getting a little worried about it overheating.

So I figured, where's the coolest place to let it do its thing? Don't worry, I closed the door so that it didn't start to defrost and drip on it! It felt much cooler when I took it out once it had finished working.

Anyone else used their Mac under extreme circumstances or in odd places?

when i worry if my PB is going to overheat i put this steel baking tray i have in the freezer for a couple of minutes and then take it out and put my pb on it. works like a charm.
