Quite simply, in my opinion, THE greatest cartoon character ever created.

Prime has transcended no less than 2 generations having first appeared on our screens on GMTV's "Roland Rat Show" in 1984 and having come crashing back to the forefront of every child's imagination through Michael Bay's fantastic visualisation of Prime that bears many G1 hallmarks.

Heroic, selfless, truthful, and honorable ... possibly the only character who could truly be considered a "role model" for young children at the time he shot to popularity in the 80's.

Of the British comics, this chap. New movie in the works too I hear. A proper grunge one by the guys who did 28 Days Later, not like the abysmal Sly Stallone abomination.

My other all-time favourite British comic book superhero is... The Brown Bottle. Mild mannered Geordie by day, pissed as sh** superhero at just one whiff of brown ale..

And all time fave American superhero is Batfink!

And Japanese would have to be Prince Planet.

Favourite continental European comic is the French, or Gaul, Asterix & Obelix.
