Me to bro. It will be worth it in the end. To be a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) it will cost me 200k

Ouch.... med school must be more expensive over there. Going to cost me about 10k a year for 6 years but it goes onto a 0% interest loan which I don't pay back till I earn over 45k a year... But its going to cost a lot more relocating

So weird. Here in Québec it's the same price, 1400$ per semester, and you spend the three years as an intern in an hospital, thus you are being paid.

Specialized Roubaix.

I just had a look at one yesterday afternoon at one of the bicycle shops in the city. Incredibly light, could lift it with no bother just with one hand. I guess that's the bike I'm getting. :)

It's just carbon, not with any particular paint scheme.

That is not even med school. That is nursing school which is 2-4 years less than med school. So med school is a lot more than what I have to pay. My main expense in anesthesia school, which is 70k a year for 2 years

I don't even want to look at the costings of postgraduate colleges (surgeons, physicians etc) yet for fear I may die of shock

Oh very nice indeed.

That's what I thought too - while trying to avoid getting too overawed with some of the more er "exotic" bikes metres away. (with prices to match).

So maybe next week I might get it. :) It's within the price range, just - and now for all the other stuff I have to get to go along with it.. It's not a cheap thing to get into. ;) At least they are throwing in shoes and a new helmet with it.

Plane ticket to South Korea

Hopefully. But my futures looking like a dark hallway from here.

How is S.Korea for a day (Seoul)? I got connecting flights, one choice is to be there for 8 hours vs 2 hours. Would I be able to enjoy the city for a while before catching my connecting flight? Wouldn't mind staying 8 hours if I could go down town have a meal, walk around a bit, buy a postcard for my GF in HK.
