Same here.. minus the "unfortunately". I think it's a really nice upgrade from the iPhone 4. No one should be disappointed, we know there's a cycle. Huge update, minor update, etc.
Now that Tim Cook did not say anything about refresh MBP today event then I am saving for 2012 MBP.

Plan on copping my iPad 2 in December....my Christmas gift to myself. I work hard....I deserve it!
My wife has been talking about getting an iPad as the family tech gift for this Christmas for some time now, so this will probably be my future purchase as well. It'll beat having to lug around the clunky portable DVD player on road trips.
I was hoping to buy just the Wi-Fi version, but we're dropping my tethering plan (too much money, not enough use), so we may get Wi-Fi + 3G. That extra $130 + data plan is going to sting, though.
On the 3G service your not tied to a contract. So if your planning a vacation just turn it on for that month.

Roland Lucina AX-09 "keytar" synth. I've demoed it at a local music store; the internal sounds aren't all that exciting, but it doubles as a USB MIDI controller.
Yup! Plan on getting another little treat for myself this December, replacing a Behringer Xenyx 1204 with a Mackie 802-VLZ3 compact mixer....less is more in my case!
Nice little bit o' gear, I'll admit.
I use a Peavey RQ200 for my little hobbyist setup. It has somewhat fewer connections overall than this one and is a little wider, but the input jacks are at the back rather than the top (looks somewhat cleaner, IMHO), and it uses sliding faders rather than knobs for track levels and master output volume.
At lunch today, I'll be buying Apple Care to extend my mid 2010 Macbook for another two years. I need to do this before Oct. 31. In about two weeks, I'll be (*maybe) buying an Airport Extreme. (*I want to look at reviews and read up on them a little more to see if that is what I want or maybe the Time Capsule.)
Hey....nice choice on the Peavey! Very sleek looking....although it's been discontinued at most places.
It's now become the Peavey PV-6 pictured here...but I'll admit that the original looks more solidly built! E-Bay and Craigslist have them listed at reasonable prices.However a Mackie is a purchase for life....or until the next upgrade! Kudos man!

That looks really nice. One of the view nav/stereo systems I've seen where the nav actually looks like its from 2011, not 2005. Do you know can the unit be made to work with steering wheel controls? (That's one of my big question marks about upgrading my factory stereo in my 2011 CRV, but if I can keep the use of my wheel controls, I'd love something like that).
As for my near-future purchase:
