Some amazing set ups here!

My tiny HomeTheater room...see that empty space. It used to have my Toshiba HD-A1 HD DVD player...just waiting for my HD-XA2 to arrive!

I'm the OP and I never did post mine how funny. Well for the moment the Samsung TV's being used and I thought I'd get a quick Wii shot to upload....or two....

Don't mind the other picture. I thought it would be kinda funny. It's where it paused at whenever I paused my show to take pictures.

Oops...files are too large. Tomorrow if I remember I'll get a shot of everything.

Retro Gamer mag got me all exited about the Sega Saturn, so I grabbed one on eBay with a few games (including a title or two released in the last couple years). I'd already boxed my Atari Jaguar up (which Retro Gamer also inspired me to grab) and stored it due to lack of space, so I had to add a shelf.

A green shelf.

(Nintendo 64, Sega Saturn, Sony Playstation, Atari Jaguar)

Much better, now. :)

Copied from the "Cribs" thread:

I feel like I'm polluting all these threads, because I want to play with my new camera.

Setup hasn't changed much since last time, but has now been taken with a Sony DSC-N2.

Here are some examples of my 'not so neat' set up. Bear in mind I live in student accommodation and have limited space and limited control over 'modifications' i do to the room (such as cableling under floors, ceilings etc). So I make do with the best I can such as re using furnature thats provided here (which is why it looks crap)! When I move out, I'll update with neater pics!

As you can see, no fancy stand, can't ceiling mount my projector, so we just use the shelves that were provided. Not ideal but it does the job!

And yes - thats a core 360 :(

Which produces a screen like such (playing link to the past on wii). Its around 105"

My girlfriend playing GH2. She is one of the best players of this game I have ever witnessed. She is sitting alot closer than normal for some reason, maybe something was going on behind....

Poker night with Gh2 in the background

And my computer set up, which is where I watch alot of movies and occassionally move my PS3 or 360 in to play some games :)

So there it is, not very neat, but when its a temp location I didn't bother really setting it up perfectly. Its great for gaming nights and film nights with all my flat mates. I am pretty sure they appreciate the set up too ;)

Nice what you studying?
Is that desk also student desk? because its very nice and spacious!

Am studying interactive multimedia, meaning photography, graphic design, web programming etc :)

Yup thats the desk that comes with my accommodation. It is very spacious, especially when you have 2 big displays! I'd like to have had my G5 tower on my desk too, but ah well, can't have everything!!

What you planning on doing at college?

tonyeck:

nice setup you have there! hows the PS3? it comes out here March 23rd.

The PS3 is fun :) I went for a US one to save money (plus I will be moving there soon anyway)

There is a lack of games right now, but I think when the PAL launch hits we should see some good quality titles. Motorstorm is awesome, I look forward to the updated online. Resistance is a quality title, MUST have :)

Tonyeck,

Was it very expensive to get that projector setup? As soon as I graduate I want to do something similar so I'll be looking to how to maximize my savings.

Anyways, gorgeous. Looks like lots of fun.

I got my projector in 2004 for around £850 (its a Panasonic Ae200) and its absolutely fantastic and even now still holds own for its age especially with how much stuff has changed (HD etc etc)

It upscales all the way to 1080i and displays images beautifully. It has a great short range throw so you can get an uber screen from not too far away.

Its perfect for film and game nights. It really gives you that sense of Home Cinema. I'd recommend one and I know I'll be upgrading in the summer.

Right now you can get some great 720p ones for about the same price as I paid 3 years ago :) I'll try and find some links for you!

Your setup blows all those big screen next gen setups out of the water. Like your walls.

Here is my 46" Samsung along with the 360 and HD DVD player. A couple weeks ago I came across some LED's at Ikea, and had to have them.. :p
