I'm currently using my old Mac Pro mainly for playing games (e.g. "Witcher 3") which is why I use "Windows 10" most of the time.

Mac Pro 5,1 / 64 GB RAM / Windows 10 (Technical Preview) / GTX 980 Ti

Ooops - you're right of course!
I just read "5,1" and "GTX 980" in several posts within this thread and wrongly assumed that the quesion about benchmarks had widened to the later Mac Pro as well.
MY fault for which I do apoligize! ! !

Sweet rig though

Original Apple 5870 scores attached. Does seem to perform quite well even at 2560x1600.

Unigine Valley
1920x1080 (windowed) ~29.8 FPS
2560x1600 (fullscreen) ~22.1 FPS 2xAA

LuxMark 2.1 GPU Only
sala.cfg 750
luxball HDR 8032
room 376

Not sure about LuxMark as the scores seem to be all over the place (unsure if Yosemite related bug?).

Will add more soon.

Did tests with your settings + one with maxed out @2560x1600.

Flashed 7950:

Unigine Valley
1920x1080 (windowed) ~34.4 FPS
2560x1600 (fullscreen) ~30.0 FPS 2xAA
2560x1600 (fullscreen) ~18.4 FPS 8xAA Ultra

GTX 680 2GB:

Unigine Valley
1920x1080 (windowed) ~27.2 FPS
2560x1600 (fullscreen) ~27.2 FPS 2xAA
2560x1600 (fullscreen) ~17.8 FPS 8xAA Ultra

Did some tests with an R9 280x 3GB - it was originally a 7970 flashed to R9 280x with Mac EFI. Significant performance difference against the Apple 5870 1GB.

Unigine Valley
2560x1600 - Medium 2xAA - 30.3 FPS
2560x1600 - Ultra 8xAA - 21.2 FPS

LuxMark 2.1 GPU Only
sala.cfg 2538
luxball HDR 19217
room 1328

Negligible difference to the 7950 however. As many people are still looking to upgrade their 2,1s with a new video card, I hope this post helps.
