17 years old here. For me its more of a collection of things. 4.0 perfect high school GPA, ranked 13th place in the entire United States high school devision of Skills USA for photography, and I make more money then my parents sometimes and I work for myself.

My greatest acheivement is (cliche alert) my kids, I have plans for 2011 though, for my personal acheivements and goals, and hopefully an entirely new career change.

I have been a published author since the age of 10, and now being only 20, having an 11th book on its way. Book 5 won the adirondack literary award for best childrens book. I have over 100,000 books sold, and speak and schools and other places regularly about writing.

Greatest achievement in my life was giving birth to my son two years ago - a long an emotional journey of thirteen years to have a child.
I left home at 16 with nothing, still finished school, went on to complete two university degrees and graduate first in my class. I have had money, not had money, have owned my own IT business, houses etc. but once you have a child it really does change your life.

I've lived in the USA for one year (exhange student), i've climbed mount Fuji in Japan in 4 hours (6 hours is average) ending up in altitudesickness
I've had some photographypublications nationally & international in decent sized magazines
I have cancelled my facebookaccount.
And the thing i'm still working on is graduating this may for a medical engineering diploma. With that i'm hoping to become a full-time OR-employee (now part-time)

Thats really awesome dude. I went to the states competition for Computer maintenance last year bu those damn seniors were to good

I don't really have any notable achievements in my life. I guess maybe getting my GED? I didn't drop out of high school because of stupidity or because of being a troublemaker, I just got tired of switching schools all the time. It also didn't help that math kept on keeping me back as I'm not the best in it. I guess my greatest achievement will be when I finally get a job that isn't some menial task and can finally support myself.
This New Year started perfectly fine for me.
I was fortunate to win 550.000 EU's after 10 years of participating with the national lottery. It's called the "Staatsloterij". The number one price was something like 33 million. But I won 550.000 TAX FREE.
it's already been transferred to my account. Because I'm already very very fortunate with my current life (own businesses and such) I will give some of the money to my parents (which were always there for my and my family, even in hard times of decease (testicular cancer )) and to some of my closest friends. So that we're all winners. It's amazing what can happen in few days. I might consider giving some money up for charity, but I still need to decide such a thing.

Working for a software company that wasn't off the ground and now we are rising and competing with some of the biggest competitors on the market. Being a part of it is stressful and rewarding. Its a good feeling to look back at the software to see the input you had on designing a feature with the development team.
Is this distaste you have for pictures of children related to your disdain for parenthood as an achievement, or general nausea at the thought of having once been a child yourself?
My greatest achievement was the birth of my daughter but beyond that I would have to say that a major achievement for me has been my education. The short version is I struggled in school most of my life, I dropped out of high school, went back and completed my G.E.D. I enrolled in a university completed my studies and graduated with a Bachelor's degree, continued on to graduate school and received my Master's degree. One day I hope to continue my studies to attain my doctoral degree.
Graduating from my Degree and getting accepted to do my Masters. Doesn't sound a huge success - but when I did my GCSE's my teacher chucked me out of school because they said I didn't work and that I wasn't going to pass any of them...so my parent's put me in private school and he told my parents that was a big waste of money.
I actually saw the teacher just before Christmas, he said "So Holly what are you doing with yourself now? Are you working in a shop or something?" I replied with "No Mr Ramsay, I've just started my Master's in Finance and Investments at Newcastle Business School, I'm also working for a bank and I've been trading in the stock markets since 17 which has enabled me to currently be in the process of starting my own hedge fund...are you still teaching?" (Although there is nothing wrong with being a teacher!)
It was a low blow but it made me feel better, and I promised myself if I ever saw him again I'd let him know what I'd managed to do without him and I'm still a child haha It did teach me to never let others put you down. My parents now proudly hang my graduation certificate and my Master's acceptance letter, framed, in the house

Wrong. Being a **** that is too stupid to use protection and gets a girl knocked up is not an achievement. Being a good parent, that IS an achievement.
