I just upgraded to ios14. Same issue with standard view.
I miss the percentage numbers for battery

How do I get this bigger widget you are talking about?

Just noticed this thread is 47 pages long!.... I’m a bit late to the party :D
In jiggle mode you can add more widgets and select the larger one for battery which includes percentages.

Top left is info: Activity and stocks
Top right is productivity; Calendar, notes, reminders
Middle is news: Apollo popular posts, various apple news topics, IMDB entertainment news
Bottom right is entertainment: Spotify, photos

What I’ve done is replace multiple app icons with a smarter stack. The top right one is a great example of 3 icons into one stack.

I used screentime to monitor my most used apps and have them on the bottom.
