I spent around a half an hour trying to get that all to work, and no dice. I will just have to admire from afar :)

This the Home Screen widget I want…. Found on IG, no links so likely just a PS job

Okay I’m having a weird issue with this, it isn’t working for me (I just see a little photo icon with a red X) but the pic pops up when I quote your post. Odd.

Edit: it only shows in the preview, soon as my post went through it went to the same little photo icon with an X.
must have uploaded it wrong. 🤔

The only thing I would do, is to delete the dots under the folders. I assume you would also rather have no name at all, hence you put the least visible symbol that exists on the keyboard

You basically only need to create a note writing down exactly this [ ] and then copying and pasting the space that's inside the brackets in the folder's name and boom, it gives you no name under the folders.

Been doing this for years, I hate finding appropriate names for folders, as I don't necessarily organize them by genre.

....or get rid of the folders altogether on the home page and use the app library instead.

;)

Haha, true! I dunno about the App Library, there was something about this concept that didn't click to me. I think I did not like the constant animation effect of switching to the App Library and then back to the homescreen. I prefer the animation effect of opening/closing a folder...

I know it's all a matter of habit, but I guess I wasn't so patient
