Thanks for sharing all these great iPadOS home screens.

I was a bit surprised to see that still so many people use the Apple Weather widget which is so limited and where I am not a reliable source (The Weather Channel) at all. There are so many great third party alternatives out there of which some also use multiple weather sources to choose from and have the option to select all the details you want to see e.g. mm of rain and % rain chance upcoming hours and days (e.g Carrot Weather, Hello Weather, WeatherUp, BeWeather 3, Partly Sunny, Weather Nerd, TodayWeather, widgetweather, Forecast Bar,Meteogram, Meteoblue, Windy).

Why the surprise? The Apple Weather app is free and is made available as soon as you start using your iPad. If all you want from a weather app is the temp and conditions before you walk out the door, why would 1 go thru the effort of seeking a more in depth app you may have to pay for?

Some just want an app that says it may or may not rain, and whether or not it will be hot today. The Apple weather app fills that need, easily.

I still can’t get any of my stuff to show up on my widgets. They are on the screen, but none of my reminders or anything show up in there - just says I have none.

I also can’t make all my widgets show up there - only weather, which shows nothing either, and the calendar/reminders.

What am I doing wrong?

I have to wonder why people use landscape when a piece of paper is portrait?
you don’t tip a newspaper on its side to read it.
