I checked the 16e several times in the shop and it’s the first phone I like besides the SE1 and 13 Mini, but still on the fence because I'm not sure how I would like this size in everyday use.
I was at first too, took a day to get used to it. It's really light and it's realistically the best option after the mini.

I picked up two of these this weekend to replace SE 2022s for my oldest grandkids. I really like them, and if they didn’t have a notch, I’d be inclined to jump on that bandwagon. I just waited SO long for them to lose the notch, I don’t think I could go back.

Why replace two SE 2022s so early? Mine is going strong, battery at 92%. My wife has an SE 2020 and is having no problems. I know you are in the US so you probably got some incredible carrier deal on the 16e. Here I would have to pay tax included 749 Euros for the 16e.

I did get a pretty great carrier deal, plus the battery life isn’t great on their SE 2022s, and if they’re gone all day it doesn’t last. Also, since everything else has gone USB-C, it simplifies the charger situation not having to keep up with multiple cords.

Well, the battery life was close to 90% on those two SE 2022s so not much worse than new. And having to manage multiple cords... (2)... not too problematic. Anyway, hope the kids like the new phones.

I realize it’s not a big deal to keep up with cords, but when you have 6 people with devices, it’s nice if they all use the same cords.

And yeah I realize the batteries are decent, but they aren’t great to begin with.

They love them.

Sounds like a great deal and smart move. Enjoy!

For anyone interested, Ryan London have just launched their full leather cases for the 16e...

Hey, nobody recognized and mentioned the APPLE Logo on the back. It's technical designed like rubber. When holding the phone your index finger won't slip and hold the phone in place. that's a real nice thing!
Isn’t the logo area just like the previous non-frosted glass?
