These are two photos both taken with the iPhone 5 which I think demonstrate the different ISO settings pretty well. The first is ISO 3200 which I triggered by trying to focus in a dark spot in the image. It went into higher ISO mode to boost the sensitivity and therefore appears brighter but more noisy. The second image I focused on a brighter part of the photo, yielding a darker but more sharp image.

From my garden, and an Apple Store panorama!![]()
Both awesome in their own way, but #2 takes 1st here. The zooming/pic quality is still not the best, but is getting better for sure.
Here are some iPhone 5 pictures from Gatlinburg/Great Smoky Mountain National Park in Tennessee.
Chinatown.
Only enhancement was a slight darken in iPhoto (done on the iPad) and a crop.
Sweet picture of my iPhone 5 when I unboxed it on Saturday (taken with an iPhone 4)
Wow, is that Apple Store always that empty? The ones I go to in Charlotte are always jam packed with a 5-10 min waiting time (literally 30 employees).
What case is that?
Try using as much natural light as possible when taking a picture with your iphone (or any camera). Natural light is what makes or breaks a photo unless you set up a studio with your own lights. Slightly overcast days are my favorite for taking pictures outside.
HDR is sort of complicated. Bing HDR photography and you'll find good info
