Haven't really been using it much...Took this shot with no natural light, flash only HD on a very grey morning at home...For a phone camera it's not too shabby.

I don't contribute anything to this thread so my opinion probably doesn't hold any value, but I would like to request people not to post pictures of flowers. Taking a nice picture of a flower in well lit conditions is probably the most easy "great" photo anyone can take. Even the most awful cameras look "okay" when you use it to take pictures of flowers. It doesn't show the strength of the iPhone camera at all.

The hot air balloon photo above is a better example :).

Any idea how to solve the purple light issue?

Don't point it at bright lights barely outside of the frame. I took a picture of the sun and it didn't cause any sort of purple glare. It only happens when the sun is mostly out of the frame.
