It has very little to do with what you have on and has a lot more to do with what you did in those 7 hours...
Lots of texting, email usage, playing games and a lot of using safari to keep up with MR.
Also, I would say 30-45 min of call time.
Did you guys notice that it says it has been plugged in since last full charge?

Getting readings 2:45 in it doesnt tell much...
Do the whole and when you get down to like 10% then post back.

My Bad.....I didn't realize that I had plugged in the phone to update my contacts.....I will do another Test with a full charged battery and post the results.
It depends. If i place my phone next to the computer, I will get 2-3 bars. If I move back two feet, it jumps to 4-5 bars. Also 3g at my house is slow. I get only 100 Kbps.

Lol. I'm not saying it's good, I just want to see it.
If I say Im at 2% with 2 min usage and 1 day of standby, that's not good, but I want to see it lol.
my 3GS has been struggling compared to my 1st gen iphone. typically have to recharge it every night as it gets to about 20-30%. on an average day i send a few texts, check emails a few times, maybe take a couple of short calls, and check traffic. most days it simply sits in my pocket.i deleted mxtube and installed yourtube as apparently mxt runs in the background which may have been eating up battery. i also reinstalled sbsettings to turn off BT/Wifi/3G when not in use. we'll see if any of that makes a difference. i liked being able to get two full days with the first iphone.
One thing I'm not quite so sure about is why my Lifetime is 5 Days, 9 Hours. It's been like that for a week or so...

My 2G battery was always fine. Just got the 3GS and the first charge lasted
Use - 4hr 20min
Standby - 4 Days 2 hours
This took it down to about 5%
No pic but would this seem good?

Not sure I believe that pic you posted. Not calling you a liar or anything, I just don't buy that.
Why, it's only about 2 hours of actual usage? Because of the standby time? Big deal.
Why? i only posted it as someone suggested i was not getting these sort of figures. Are they good, bad, in-different?
Currently at 35% battery left
Usage - 2hours 28 mins
Standby 2 Days 17 hours
Will post another pic tonight to show what is happening then.
