Before the 3g I had a Motorola Razr and a Palm Tungsteb T5
Before that I had a couple of blackberries and many PalmOS devices going back to Palm III.

iPhone (Original)
iPhone 3GS
iPhone 8 Plus

My stair step upgrade pattern has emphasized the differences between cell phones. The 3GS was a nice upgrade from the original but wow, this 8 Plus is like Bogart said in the Maltese Falcon, the "Stuff that dreams are made of". This phone is big, fast, and beautiful! Unlike some iPhone Plus users, I am not burdened with the concern that the 8 Plus does not seem enough like an upgrade. Wireless charging and more storage than some laptop computers put the 8 Plus in a different category than any phone I ever owned. I considered an X but the big display, battery life, and notch-free image of the 8 Plus won me over. :apple:

That is a real tough one! If it was edge to edge screen, probably yes. The iPhone 5s did not have the camera bump, and I love that. I cannot stand these camera bumps ever since iPhone 6!

What about you? What was your favorite design, and if you say the iPhone X what was your favorite design before the X?

:apple:

Before the X it was definitely iPhone 5s. Same with you about the camera bump and had a solid feel to it just a bit too small though. Although the X is very sturdy and premium. I am still yet to scratch my phone with having no case. I have even dropped it off the bed a couple of times. Impressed with this.

No iPhone history; had antique Nokias until a few weeks ago, when I bought an iPhone SE, - my first iPhone - although work supplies me with some ghastly Samsung Galaxy thing.

Congratulations on coming into the present lol

Have you never owned a Galaxy then or just too scared to say it on here? ;)

iPhone 3G (must be in a box somewhere)
iPhone 4 (sold it)
iPhone 6 (keeping as a back up)
iPhone X (sold it)
iPhone 7+ (daily driver)

3GS

6S

Every 3 years leaves things fresh & exciting....until the X came along - plan was to grab it, & still should, which would make it the first 2 year upgrade.
