clearly I don't. It just seems rather silly. An iPod is not a "set up".
Although once again note that I also think the post your "ibook/powerbook/emac" setup are also silly. I think one thread for all your mac setups is enough.

iPod Mini

Desktop iPod set up

4G 40 GB iPod
Send Station Pocket Dock with line out.
Sonic Impact T-Amp
6 ohm SONY APM-909 speakers.

Overall this set-up sounds very accurate and very clean at high volumes. With it I can hear tape hiss in the White Stripes' Elephant. At some point I will add a regulated power supply and a sub-woofer to this set up to make it sound even better.

Well, that was a couple of days ago before my Mini's screen died. Yep. My 3 day old Mini is already going back to Apple! I hope this isn't something that happens often or I will be forced to get a Dell DJ or something.

I've used the Dell and I've used my iPod.
the dell was UTTER HORRIBLE .. EW! *at loss of words because of how bad it is*

And you can just tell yourself that you got a 6 gig shuffle, hahaha.

I hope your iPod gets fixed soon! Apple is AWESOME about getting stuff back to people on a timely basis. Rock!

That was me being mad at the time. The iPod is a much nicer looking device. Plus, I would hate to have to give up iTunes to use Windows Media Player or MusicMatch or something like that! Ugh! BTW, my iPod box is arriving on Monday so by late next week or the early next week I should have either a new refurbished iPod or the same iPod with a fixed screen!
