Hey I saw you are starting at Mines next year, and just wanted to say hi. I'm an alum '99 and had a great time. I hope you have fun there, Golden is a nice place. Enjoy Coors Lab!

Wow, thanks...glad someone who knows I'm going there didn't bring up the fact that they have the highest suicide rate in the country for colleges...

...I hate when people do that!

I don't know where they get these kinds of stats, because in the time I was there (5 years for B.S. and M.S) we didn't have anyone commit suicide. I think that's blown way out of proportion. Anyways, good luck with your Chem E program....there's plenty of time to see the light and switch to physics :p

Evil RPG

My friends and I have been role playing for over a decade and finally put up a website using iWeb. I must say it is easy to use and makes nice looking pages. This weekend we will post our first podcast from the game. Also, there is place to put comments on the blog page thanks to the great work done by Chad Brantly on icomment, thank you!

Here's mine...

It's still pretty raw, and I don't have many photos to work with (yet). I'm still playing around with some ideas. Originally, I used it to post some photos and movies of our New Year's party. Now, I think I might turn it into a sort of visual content resume - i.e. the "Ten Questions" page. I'm a sportswriter for my college newspaper, and this might be a good venue in which to present my clips to prospective employers. We'll see. (If that's what I end up doing, I should probably delete EVERYTHING else.) If you want a laugh, enjoy sports, and don't mind a lot of reading, it might be worth a look. I might turn some of my columns into podcasts, if I have the time.

Nice, but yours had the same problem mine did. Where makes the front page image a PNG and slow to load. I put a ~100kb JPG on mine and it turned it into a 500kb PNG. I resized the JPG in PS to where I wanted it, then put it on the front page, then set it to actual size in the inspector. Kept it as a JPG with the right file size. Works great if you aren't using a transparency.

iWeb and search engines

Anyone have any insights on how to make Iweb sites show up on the search engines. I saw some info on metatags and other html suggestions but I'm just a novice and would like some more practical advice. I'm trying to set up a site for a business to and wonder if iWeb would be the most appropriate tool for me to use. Any advice would be welcome. Also, any way to change or modify the URL's..they are a bit lengthy...

Here's the link to my site:
