1) No Docked Icon Labels 4.0 on Cydia. The one that comes stock with Winterboard doesn't work.
2) Go to bundles/com.apple.springboard in your theme folder. If there's an image named SBDockMask@2x.png (as well as one without the @2x), delete it. This should give you your reflections back.

1) As stated earlier, No Dock & SB Text on Cydia
2) If you install Shrink, there's an option to turn on the dock icon reflections (if you're not comfortable deleting a file as was the other suggestion).

WHEN and WHERE? Do WANT. Love the look of this thing. Would be nice if the slider was either transparent or smaller than what's in the screenshot. Maybe squeeze in a weather widget somewhere too?

Thanks!

Weather widget is in the works, im thinking a nice weather icon in the center of the polar clock. Only issue is this theme already uses a lot of resources, so I dont want to bog down the battery too badly.

Slide I would love to change but I am awful at doing graphics like that (i also dont know the winterboard system that well). If anyone wants to give it a shot id be more than happy to give them credit.

I hope someone will take an extra minute to help me out here. Long story short I just installed Gladhander from MacThemes and they have an icon pack with 650 icons. I know how to install the theme manually using iPhone explorer but how do I manually install the icon pack? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm probably worse at graphics than you so I attached the slider for the Slanted Lock theme. I guess you could use it as a starting point until something better comes along?

(I didn't download the app pack so I don't know how everything is organized. This is assuming it's not already setup correctly. If it's already organized and named correctly you can just copy and past it into the Themes folder)

The icon pack would need to be placed inside the Themes folder on your phone (root/var/stash/Themes.xxxxxx). I would name it "Gladhander Icons.theme" or something. There are a couple ways to make sure the icons are replaced correctly. The best way for a large number of apps is using the Bundle Identifier. This is a unique ID that each app has so winterboard will know what file it is supposed to replace.

The two things you will need to know for each app is the name of the icon file and the Bundle ID for the app. Both of these can be found inside the info.plist file for the app you are replacing the icon for. These folder can be found at root/private/var/mobile/Applications. Each app folder has a random string of numbers and letters to identify it within the iphone. You will need to know this in order to find the app you're specifically looking for. The easiest way to do this is through SBSettings. Open the Setup/Options screen for SBSettings and the last options should be "App Folders". Through this you can select an app to see the location.

I used iFile to look up what I needed. Here's an example:

1) Looking up the app Angry Birds in SBSettings told me its folder was called "DE17E14D-5181-4113-B4EE-8478A28DBCB80"

2) Using iFile or SSH, going into that folder (at root/private/var/mobile/Applications) and then into "AngryBirds.app" I found the file info.plist and opened it. Here's what you're looking for:

a) <key>CFBundleIconFiles</key>
<string>This file name is the name of the icon. For angry birds it was "icon@2x.png"</string>

b) <key>CFBundleIdentifier</key>
<string>This is the Bundle ID. For angry birds it was "com.clickgamer.AngryBirds"</string>

3) Now that I know the icon file name and the Bundle ID I go back to my Gladhander Icons.theme folder in "Themes" and structure the theme like this:
"/Gladhander Icons.theme/Bundles/com.clickgamer.AngryBirds/icon@2x.png" where the file "icon@2x.png" is the new icon.

4) Repeat for each app that you would like to replace. Here is a good resource for finding Bundle IDs and Icon File Names: https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AnwqZYJrC7psdGt1WE5WMlE4ZU9pVG9hcGJXVVpzRlE&hl=en. Not all of these are correct but it should save you some time.

Easiest way to remove docked labels without having to d/l programs and use wasted space is to SSh into the theme your using and open the info.plist and add this key/string (or if already included change color to TRANSPARENT font size: 0px):

<key>DockedIconLabelStyle</key>
<string>color: transparent; font-size: 0;</string>

And if you ever want to get rid of the Undocked icons add this:

<key>UndockedIconLabelStyle</key>
<string>color: transparent; font-size: 0;</string>

save and respring
