What am I doing wrong? I added this:

Code:
** * * * * * * <key>DockedIconLabelStyle</key>
** * * * * * * <string>visibility: hidden; color: transparent; font-size: 0px</string>

Its not working though.

Dont include the astriks.. for some reason this forum added them... Again dont create another theme just having your info.plist in it.

If it continues not to work then theres a program stopping it because it works for me!..

If it continues not to work PM me your theme and ill check it out on my phone.

OK, I'm pulling all my hair out here, I removed the asterisks, now no labels on undocked or docked icons.

Code:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">
<plist version="1.0">

Quick question:

I have a new calendar icon and I want to remove the day and date from the icon as I have a widget below that shows that information. Does anyone know what I edit to remove the day/date from the icon but still keep the icon? I need the icon to access my calendar which I use a lot.

TIA,

Hey BW ... The "version" of the KruzeWidget that i have has the location and weather details on the SB at the top LHS & RHS, as well as the line of dates just above the dock down the bottom of the screen ....

in the pic that you posted of your SB "back a few pages" (like about 40 pages:)), there is no location or weather details on the SB at all ... do you have a different "version" of the Kruze Widget .... or did you "edit" those details "out" so that you only get the line of dates just above the dock down the bottom of the screen ...

can you pls post details of how you did that edit ... or a link to the version of that widget that you are using ...

i really like that look with the single date 'line or string" without the weather details ...

thank you

regards
A|T

Aussie, you can use the version you've got and just comment out (or rather, make them transparent so you can't see them) the weather conditions and temp.

If you ssh into the Kruse widget folder, open the Private folder, open the Stylesheets folder, and you'll find mini.css. As you scroll down through the file, you'll see the code for "Weather City Position", "Weather Temperature Position", etc.

Under the temp and weather info code, you'll see the settings for "opacity". They're probably set to something around 0.8. Simply change this to 0.0 and the temp and conditions will now be transparent. All you'll have left showing is the line calendar at the bottom.

in your info.plist change the color to transparent, and font size 0px (if it uses shadow)

AAAAHHHH Yeah.. dont see you getting the Macristocracy crown (or the real one) as this is NFR and a few have/able to get it.

To get that crown you have to be part of a elite group of designers/themers who are only willing to share their work amongst themselves. Because us regular themers do no deserve their work.

i've got it and i copied the O2 file bundle and all is well thanks for your input

in the future you prob get better help by giving a little more detail on, like for example, your iOS your using and such... But Awesome that you got it working (not really).

Question

Is there a program you guys use to easily edit and preview these themes/widgets on the desktop? I'm getting really tired of doing these edits in iFile.

Thanks.

I use WinSCP (windows) to edit the files and either A) double click the html file and itll preview the html file via the internet, or B) instead of internet use the Web View via ifile to view the widget

Does anyone have a plain text weather widget? Like written clocks? Also has anyone seen a "Hacker" or "leet speak" font for the iPhone 4?

There has to be a .plist somewhere that's taking out your labels on the undock icons. Only the theme with the icons you want took out the labels?

I really like this, Fantasigraphic. It's a very clean setup (and one I wouldn't mind having if LEXS or you would release this version of it!) ;)

I don't have problem what so ever BUT I have to check with lex as I know the widget had a "small bug" in it Lex was trying to fix... Not sure if she fixed it or not but as soon as she gives the go ahead I'll release it or you!

On a side note... how's UK gonna do in SEC tourney?

Couple widgets together (got from this thread). Dumped stardock icons for HERO. :D
