iPhone Post your Jailbroken Home Screen (Part 3)

Hey guys, was wondering if someone could help me in doing two things (noob questions, if I should be posting this in a different thread please let me know, my apologies ahead of time if this is cluttering this thread).

1.) I've successfully been able to input a new LS and Homescreen on my iPhone from a couple of the awesome themes on this thread. But my question is how do I change my wallpaper if I like the theme set up just want a different background? Something with the .HTML or something?? I'm lost.

2.) what are the steps needed to be taken to get the awesome status bar icons you guys all have? The battery icon in the top right, wifi bars, etc. And how would one go about finding one of these cool icons (modmyi?)

Any help would be much appreciated. If this has been posted in the wrong thread I'm sorry, maybe you can direct me to the proper thread? Thanks guys.

1) To change the wallpaper is going to vary by theme, but typically the theme will have a Wallpaper.png or LockBackground.png located in the primary directory, and that is used for the wallpaper, just replace that file with your own.

2) For the statusbar, I never remember the file names and locations. I would go to macthemes and check out the iOS releases forum. Look for threads with "Statusbar" in the title. Find some you like, download them, and if you loom at what files they contain its normally pretty easy to tell what files are what part of the Statusbar.

3) Post back here with more questions:cool:

Ok i have been playing around since my JB and this is the theme i have settled on

Heavy Metal HD for the spring board and because i like the clash of looks and styles i am using LS CardboardWeather. Both i have found because of this thread.

I have one little issue, no big deal really but it does nag at me.

I have a screenshot from the Heavy Metal page on Cydia and the folder matches the background of the SB, but on my phone the folders do not match. I have played around with several settings but i have had no luck fixing it.

because this theme was made for FW 4.1 and hasnt been updated for 4.3.x (if thats what you are on.) What you can try is this:

To activate the Folder/Multitasking backgrounds (iOS 4.1):
==> SSH to: /private/var/mobile/Library/Caches/
==> Delete the file named com.apple.Springboard.folderSwitcherLinen (0-3)
==> Respring (note: the file is just a cache file, it gets regenerated on respring)

I will give that a try, i am on 4.2.8 for what it is worth.

great, thanks a bunch. Is there anyway this can be used just as a lockscreen instead of as a theme for everything. I really want it just for my lockscreen.

UPDATE: got it figure out, just had to disable the wallpaper.html file. Quick question. the am/pm indicator is to far over to the left so you can only make out about half of the test. What do I need to tweak to move it to the right alittle so I can see the whole word.

sorry, the only solution i have to offer is to shrink the font to 7px or 6px
