why would I be respringing it a lot?I do it at least once a day to free up MB's. Shouldn't worry about it too much though. Once you get yours, you'll be respringing alot so you'll naturally free up MB's that way
From installing all these themes/icons/tweaks on your shiny new iPhone 4.
Changing carrier logos on your VZ iPhone isn't as simple as it is on the AT&T version. With the VZ iPhone, you need to edit a plist in order to change the logo as well as upload new images on to your phone. Not sure if there is any easier method currently however this tutorial should be a good start for you.
I'm not sure about the actual font color, but I've found a few tweaks on Cydia that work on my 3GS on 4.0. The one I use the most is called "Blue Badges"...it just changes the stock red badges to blue.
You may have to just search "badges" on Cydia and try some out and see if they'll work.

Rick I'm afraid to tell you that you're going to have to do it all over again.
Here's what I did to make sure that I didn't have to go through the whole process again.
1. Follow the tutorial and make the p-list changes to the Zeppelin_US.bundle etc.
2. Copy the new Zepplin.bundle that you changed and then repaste directly into where you copied it.
(/private/var/mobile/Library/Carrier Bundles/iPhone/Zeppelin_US.bundle) and then press rename when the ifile error comes up. Rename this duplicate file to Zeppelin_US.bundle-jailbreak or whatever you will remember.
If it ever reverts again you can just copy/repaste the altered version again and use the Zeppelin_US.bundle-jailbreak that you made.
I hope this makes sense.

ok i figured it out....cleanstatus was messing everything up.
I have succesfully gotten the verizon image in the status bar changed...i can reboot and its still good. i can help anyone needing help.

To those asking how I got the illest carrier logo, here it is.
