iPhone Post your Jailbroken Home Screen (Part 3)

so, it seems to be just me, because I haven't seen any other posts in this thread mentioning it - but, I seem to be having a problem with my springboard widgets.

ever since I updated to 4.2.8 -- I can't get any widgets to appear on my springboard. I've tried several widgets from supervixen, lex, & some other ones; unfortunately, none appear!... BUT, once they are activated in winteboard, I do see a very brief flash of the widget when unlocking my phone, before the springboard loads.

has something changed, where the HTML needs to be titled different, or something else that I'm missing? I'm quite confused.

any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks all!

The ad issue is actually a problem with jailbreaks and iAds, it's not widget or theme specific. I googled removing iAds a while back and got rid of them entirely, no more problems with them showing on my springboard after minimizing an app that had them.

thanks, the key was the word "iads". I hadnt looked for that term.
I found that deleting Adsheet.app ( or at least the contents of this directory, its under /Applications ) got rid of all the iAds for me. Thanks
