Im downloading it on my iphone. Maybe thats why. I use ifile and have a zipunarchiver that undoes compressed. Maybe iphones dont work with rar?

You are d/l from Box. For some reason with Box files it's doesn't work for iPhone. I've tried a few d/l and after extracting them it'll show the web view (via iFile) but when I activate it via winterboard it wont work.
Best thing to do is d/l on computer and ssh to you iphone

Firstly, you might want to PM the original person who posted that lockscreen to help you on that. It looks like it a custom wallpaper with the horizontal lines. As for your second issue, it sounds like a restore is at the end of your tunnel

Mind sharing that set up? Id love to have my phone look like that. Schnedi is a verry talented designer. I have that lockscreen by him already but not the wallpaper and widget or icons. I agree with the earlier poster, how do you get lockinfo to show up?I bought it and update it. I am running Verizon iphone with 4.2.6 greenpoison.

So I FINALLY decided to update my 3GS from 4.0 to 4.2.1...lol. It's about time, eh?
The thing I love is that it really sped the phone up (since I don't have all the clutter of unused apps anymore...I just reinstalled the ones I use regularly) and I don't have a TON of things in WinterBoard now. It's amazing how fast the phone resprings! Love it!
I've decided to stick with the stock clock on the lockscreen for now, but I'm using one of my old favorite sliders and have removed the dark overlays.
I'm also finally using Iconoclasm again. The last time I used it (well over a year ago) it crashed my phone and caused me to do a restore, so I'd stayed away. But I wanted to try it again and it's working great. The SB widget was graciously posted by riverob and I love it. I'm thinking of putting a word clock I've got at the top, though, as I think it looks a little sparse (and hiding the clock with the widget below the dock).
The one thing that SUCKS for me...now I can't tweak the code of widgets to change the wallpaper from my camera roll. I have to do it like everyone else and just put the wallpaper I want to use in the theme folder. Ugh. That was the biggest reason I stayed away from updating, so if someone knows a workaround (if there is one), I'm all ears.

There's an app I use to change wallpaper on the LS and SB when using widgets. It's called Wallpaper JPEGifier. Works great. I can link you if needed, but a search should turn it up over at modmyi forums. Add the app, adjust the code in the widget, change the wallpaper under settings, respring.

No kidding. I have no idea what they were thinking when they did that. I think sometimes they just like to mess with the jailbreak community (for instance, adding the ~iphone to files in later firmwares). It's maddening sometimes.

It was funny actually. I happened to stumble upon this app last week. Initially I had a problem getting it to work, I thought oh great. But my path was wrong. Once I got that right, it worked great.
omg , i stopped messing wtih my phone cuz i got a little too carried away with it but all these new screenshots make me want to start again..
that OS7 looks HOT !! is it like the previous version where it would mess up your phone ?

SB is Prestige with the aforementioned weather and date widget uploaded by riverob. And the word clock...not sure where it came from as I've had it forever. Layout is Iconoclasm 3x3 sparse.

Works stable, but the live tiles take a lot of memory. And you have to make compromises. No Spotlight and you have to respring when you install an app to make it appear and deleting an app works as far as I know just over Itunes. But I like that big buttons in cool colours and displaying my photos in a slide show. Cool feeling. Here's the tread:

Thanks, Jason. Yeah, I'm just trying to find something a little different. I plan on upgrading to the next iPhone whenever it's announced and released, so I'm just basically experimenting on my 3GS for the time being.
