Thanks, that explains why the LS is always up to date.
I had changed the "1200" value on the SB widget to "600" (10 minutes) and when that didn't work, "60" (1 minute). Still doesn't update regularly. I realize that the source only updates the current conditions every hour but the widget doesn't even do that.
yep, in iOS 4 that code is "broken" just works in iOS 5

with the 20 should refresh every 20 minutes...

Same here, idownload status bars then when I go into an app like settings the text goes black, and quite difficult to see.

hey do you have the photoframe psd?
If you go into iFile or WinSCP and go to System/Library/Carrier Bundles/iPhone/ and then scroll down to find your cell carrier you can find your new file name. Good luck.

I'm assuming you already have the SB Widget installed so yes, all you need to do is change the Layer.png file (for background) and Girl.png (for the picture in the middle). The latter takes a couple of extra steps;
Basically, I took a pic of my own and cropped it to 267x636. I then opened the Girl.png file in Pixlr.com (online Photoshop tool, although if you have Photoshop, you can use that too). After you've got the Girl.png file open, open your pic as a new layer and position it directly over top of the original image. Then delete the original layer and save as Girl.png, then replace the original with the newly created file.
For the LS, I created a whole series of Fringe backgrounds (because I'm a fanatic) and whichever one I want, I rename as Layer.png. I also modified the LockBackground.html file to position the barcode font lower and move the weather widget to the right side instead of centered. If you want, I can tell you what you need to change but I highly suggest you do this on a copy of the file so that if you bugger it up beyond repair, you can easily revert to the original file.
Of course, I've since made more changes (albeit minor) to my springboard:

Yeah, I found some instructions online for it, but it never seemed to work. I noticed that LEX was given these great looking status bars on another forum, but it is quite old so i'm not sure if he still has them. That is why I was hoping LEX had those bars or instructions for installing those bars w/ black text/blue icons/green bat.
I like this a lot, actually. I know this is probably somewhere very obvious, but could someone direct me to where I can find how to install individual icons? I've just been using FolderIcons, but I haven't swapped out individual icons for actual programs.
