I dont wanna start anything here but i just want to ask the question why? why are people reverting back to using the Jaku icons especially when running iOS 7... I just want to hear peoples reasoning for running this theme...IMO it does not go well with the resigned flat UI concept which would make it tacky to me

me personally, I simply despise the way ios 7 looks in all facets but I want most of it's functionality. Jaku and several other icon themes look a million times better to me

Funny..after thinking about for a week I also went back to Jaku. Why?

First: MANY icons are already done. I was excited about 0bscure7 but this waitung for the icons...every year...I´m getting too old for this. And: missing the colors @0bscure7..hard for my eyes all this b&w.

Second: they look great. Really great.

Personally I hope for a flat BlackUPS...that would be my first choice.

i guess i am just in the minority about the Jaku icons

iOS 6 they were great cause you didnt need a UI theme to go with the icons cause they went real well with the default iOS 6 UI

but to use the icons now with iOS 7 i dont think that goes well

and i think i also might be in the minority about loving the look of iOS 7 too

Today :p

I'm not running Jaku now, but I do think it's one of the better themes. To try and answer your question, for me, I theme mainly for my home screen. Would I like the rest of the UI to match? Sure, but it's just not that important to me.

Probably because the dark icons look really sharp. It's not written anywhere in stone that Jaku is only allowed to be used on iOS 6 =P

Easy answer (gasp), personal preference. I really think it's that simple.

I am fairly new to the JB (have had an iPhone since the original one though). I am having a heck of a time trying to:

1. Display widgets on the lock screen or other pages (if that is even possible).
2. Install any custom winterboard themes. The themes work but outside of changing icons they do nothing else. No custom lock sliders, wallpapers, etc. I have purchased Ayecon and Jaku so far but am not sure if they even come with anything custom outside of the wallpapers.

Hopefully some one can be kind enough and take the time to answer some of these questions for me:

1. Is there any tutorial (or steps) to enable/display widgets?
2. What packages do I need to install for the custom widgets? I have winterboard, iwidgets, ncallonly, widget weather installed.
3. Any tutorial (steps) regarding customizing sliders, wall papers (they are not being installed or placed in the 'Photos' folder either). Or is this something that is not working on ios7 + cydia right now.

I am very very comfortable working with Linux/Unix (do it for a living) and have ifile and ssh installed so can definitely handle working at the shell level if need be.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Anyone know where the stock still and dynamic wallpapers are stored? And can you add wallpapers to that folder so they will not be a part of the camera roll ??
