meCka, if you have lockinfo installed, that could be the problem. Go to lockinfo settings and to lockscreen and make sure you have opacity set to transparent. Hope this helped.

That was it omg i feel stupid haha. Thanks

Thanks a bunch for posting this - it looks great. The only thing I've run into is the 3 rows of icons are at the top of my home screen, leaving the bottom row blank instead of the top row. The icons cover the widget at the top. Any tips on how to fix that? Thanks again.

How do you change the clock to 12 hour format instead of 24hr format? Also, when i enable the lockscreen in winterboard the original clock and date are retained with the theme just overlaid on top of it. How can i fix this?

U can edit the html file and select 12/24 hr format.

As to the stock lock screen search for "lockscreen clock hide" on cydia and that should take care of it

Thanks glad you like it :)

Install iBlank from Cydia and place 4 iBlanks at the top of each page

or install Gridlock which is far better and you can move your icons to where
you want them on your springboard this to from Cydia this is not free

Guys when you have all finished around playing with these Themes would love to see some Screenshots

Gridlock it is! Thanks for the quick help and taking the time to post these great looking themes. I am often amazed how creative some folks are -- I definitely don't have it. :(

You need to use something like Text Edit / Note Pad / TextWrangler

open html with one of the above you will then be able to Edit the text

Text Edit and Text Wrangler are for Mac

Pc Note Pad not sure there must be others

Im using Text edit. I open LockBackground.html with it and a small picture comes up...no text

WOW!

These look amazing!! Didn't think all this was even possible! I just downloaded some premade Winterboard themes from Cydia and thought that's the best I'm gonna get, but boy was I wrong!

I'm going to have to go back and read through as to how people did these. Any tutorials floating around by any chance??

or try dl'ing text wrangler; bbedit lite might work...

dreamweaver works well with this too (but of course you'd NEED dreamweaver to use dreamweaver...:D )

TextWrangler worked...just no idea how to change it lol. Both the 24hr and 12hr formats are discussed...but cant see anywhere that specifies which is/or how it's activated.

Here it is

function amPm ( )
{
var currentTime = new Date ( );

var currentHours = currentTime.getHours ( );

// Choose either "AM" or "PM" as appropriate
var timeOfDay = ( currentHours < 12 ) ? "AM" : "PM";

// Convert the hours component to 12-hour format if needed
currentHours = ( currentHours > 12 ) ? currentHours - 12 : currentHours;

// Convert an hours component of "0" to "12"
currentHours = ( currentHours == 0 ) ? 12 : currentHours;

// Compose the string for display
var currentTimeString = timeOfDay;

// Update the time display
document.getElementById("ampm").firstChild.nodeValue = " " + currentTimeString;
