Anyone know the original download location / author for my wi-fi & signal bars?

They came embedded in a theme I was using but only work when the status bar is transparent....when it goes solid my bars revert back to stock!

I install the lockscreen widget, but for some reason I am not getting the gray box around the the top that enclose the Temp, Time, and Date? any idea? I ssh into the Themes folder and place the whole folder there and use winterboard to enable it and respring.

The theme layout needs to be: themename/Icons/appname.png and appname@2x.png
So if you have and icon for Facebook for example, you would name the two icons Facebook.png and Facebook@2x.png

I got this method to work on my phone as well, but only when in SummerBoard Mode.

That is just so bizarre...

Outrigger, I haven't got a clue as to why directly replacing the icon files is not working for you. I am also running 4.1 on a iPhone 4. chrispholt's method works, but like he stated, maintains the correct sizing for icons. This is an issue with the icons I've uploaded because my workaround for the sizing issue, at the time, was to simply resize the icons within the 114x114px 'shell,' so the icons aren't actually 114x114px.

If you use chrispholt's method, my icons will appear too small on your springboard. Let me know if you decide to use this method, and I can send you revised icons that are actually 114x114px

Well guys, believe it or not this actually works. And it is way easier than having to deal with all those stupid bundle ID's. Here is what you have to do:

Create a folder in the root of your theme folder named "Icons", just like the old school themes.

Then in the "Icons" folder you will have to put in 2 Suave HD icons for each app. You will use the name of the app that appears on your phone screen, just like the old way to theme. Except one will have the @2x and one will not in the name of the app/icon.



Place both icons in the "Icons" folder in your theme and respring. You should have your icon themed without having to use the bundle ID's.

Here is a "Test Theme" to download. You guys can see the file structure, copy it to the themes folder in winterboard. And then just select it just like its a normal theme. This is just a test file for you guys and you should turn off other themes in winterboard when testing this. But so far it has worked for the few apps I have tried and it also looks like it is maintining the corect size icons for app store apps and stock apps.

Many, Many Thanks to enzom21 for figuring this out.

I have implemented this method and can confirm that it works very very well with App Store icons. I am still testing other apps but so far this is rockin!!! I also will confirm that summerboard must be activated to work. I believe that once you install your theme with summberboard off and then activate it, there will not be any conflicts. Still testing this as well.

I will also add that if you use Rename II you will have to use a specific number of spaces to rename the App or once you rename it, it will become visible or revert to its original layout. To explain: I have put two invisible .pngs into the Icon folder. This is for the Weather HD app that I have hidden under my weather widget. I had to use Rename II to change the name to: "space""space".png and "space""space"@2x.png to keep the name AND the icon invisible.

I just saw that some people were having their phones frozen after uninstalling Eclectic clock theme.

I can confirm this! I used the Electric Clock for a while last night and then decided to uninstall it. . . my phone froze right after respring and I had to restore early in the AM. I won't use again thats for sure!

I went to the apps folder and replaced the icon@2x.png in bitesms.

How do you get them from your computer to your phone?
