Until you find out how much the contract costs...

If I went for a free PS3 deal I could get one for less than I'm paying now, for the same mins/texts and have a blackberry.

Just because it's possibly more than you're paying. It's not the same for everyone.

which one did you go for? i'd always thought those deals were kinda dodgy ;)

ooh yeah, they're the suxxors.

Contract is £35 per month for 700 minutes and 100 text messages. That's more minutes than I get at the moment but less text messages for the same as I'm paying at the moment. But as I've only sent 100 or so text messages in the last 12 months I'm not worried about the text message bit.

bottom line is, I got a new phone and a PS3 and it's costing me nothing more each month. Oh and better still, my company has just introduced a new expenses policy and I'm classed as a essential user so they pay half my mobile bill even if I don't make any calls, so it will end up costing me £17.50 per month... I'm mega happy.

Suppose it does make sense for some. I'm just so used to spending less than £25 per year on cellphone credit that all of these deals look crazy to me at first glance!

Now I know why I am always hearing about and seeing those "PLEASE HELP, I spilled coffee on my MBP!!!" threads.
