The Brother HL-2070N monochrome laser printer. I bought it from Office Depot for $59.99. Talk about a steal.

How did you put the Macbook Pro in clamshell mode? I can´t!

(yeah this thread isnt the best way to ask this but....)

Looking at that picture closely, its not closed all the way. I think thats how he's doing it. He has 2 screens(or he's mirroring) and he only uses 1 :)

Now I know why I am always hearing about and seeing those "PLEASE HELP, I spilled coffee on my MBP!!!" threads.

Haha, it was empty when i did that picture. I always keep my drinks on a separate table, as i am sure everyone else is i am very paranoid about spilling something on it.

Toronto!
fatwreck.com is a great place to get some good punk vinyl.
especially for pretty cheap compared to record stores, ebay or other places on line. i love how most 7"s are $3 and full LP's are $8-$12

and for me, gotta love the full NOFX arsenal they have.

which they should. since fat mike owns the damn label with his wife. hah

Is the VR6 available without manual transmission?

What's the point on a sports/sporty car with an automatic gearbox...?

Yep, you could get 'em with an automatic transmission. Some people (probably 80% of the American population) drive automatics. I don't get it. I love a good manual transmission.

VW's DSG is an automated manual transmission (dual clutch gearbox) and that's probably one of the best transmissions out there, even though you don't have to use a clutch. Here's a video where Jason Plato gives a pretty good explanation of it.

VW GTI Review

Even though I love conventional manual transmissions, I think I could definitely learn to live with a DSG.

I understand that they're technically good (as an engineer, I can very much accept that they're superior functionally). But I cannot imagine it being even nearly as fun to use something without a clutch. Perfecting the clutch I feel is as much or probably more of the manual fun than shifting.

phiberglass, who's the designer for those glasses? They're cute. :)

Totally agree with that. The clutch is what makes it fun. I do think the DSG would still be fun, though, but having never had the pleasure of driving one, I couldn't say for sure.

I couldn't afford one, anyway. If I end up getting a VW, it'll be a VR6 with a conventional manual transmission and I'm sure it'll be a lot of fun. :)

Got this picture at ikea... bought it for the frame, and put in my own pictures

It was a pain to take apart because it wasnt meant to be opened. It looks alot better in person, the picture is actually about an inch behind the glass, gives it some really nice depth

That is defiantly the understatement of this thread. Words can not describe how fun a VR6 is to drive. Honestly, I don't know how to say how great my new car is. :D
