But he looses the navigation keys too??

Why get a copy of his MacBook keyboard??

The navigation keys are still there last time I checked...

But guys it's wireless! That makes it so much better! I'm not being sarcastic either, I have both though.

In response to the wired/wireless:

I bought a wired keyboard for my macbook, but after trying out a wireless i coulden't go back. Sold my wired almost intimidately, and got a wireless. One of the best things i've ever bought for my computer (excluding a second monitor)

I find that i never used the number pad, and the ability to move it to wherever i needed it (including my lap) was a HUGE plus. Not to mention less cables.

I've been contemplating buying a wireless keyboard for my iMac. I love the aluminum keyboards and love eliminating clutter, so I figure I'd like to have one. The lack of a number pad really doesn't concern me, since I am used to laptop keyboards, anyway. I use my iBook A LOT and I've gotten used to not having a number pad and having to use the function key.

well first off im a girl hehe so yea im limiting myself to the same keyboard for the convenience of wireless cuz i take my notebook with me everyday to class and the wires become a pain.
i haven't really thought of my setup i may have an external which i use now but may upgrade or just keep the one i have now.

anyways i guess back on topic :)

Mighty mouse got poorly.

We need that mouse in action! :)

One thing you might consider in the future is something like the Sony NiMH batteries -- they're not very expensive (I got them on Amazon's marketplace), and you buy a set of four batteries, you can charge the alternate set up and have it ready for when you need it. I use them in my (old style) Apple Wireless Keyboard and Apple Wireless Mouse, and I'm really happy with them.

Uniross are the king of rechargeables in my opinion, although over there you only get the 2500mAh where as we rock it with 2700mAh

I have tried other brands but they just don't last as long or deliver as much as my Uniross.

Thanks mkrishnan and xUKHCx for your input, being in the uk i'll probably try xUKHCx idea, i have a charger pack, but never had much luck with charging batteries, i think it has stopped working all together now.

I need to get rechargable ones, as my wireless keyboard isnt going to last forever either.

Just got a 50mW green laser. Because it came from eBay it might not actually be 50mW, but the seller seemed pretty legit. Anyway, it can hit the treeline over 1km away from my kitchen window without a problem. Promises many hours of fun :)

Or you could save money & buy some higher quality, higher capacity batteries that will last much longer, both in terms of capacity & degradation from charging. Most importantly, they would cost a lot less, even with a charger (which would probably be faster than USB too).
