He put them on eBay himself and won the bid so he could give himself positive feedback :p

You're too smart for your own good, my friend.

And I rebought them because they were stolen from me, so until the mean person(s) that stole all of my sh*t decide(s) to come over and give it all back, I'll have to buy back what I can.

Apparently it's good to have friends in IT procurement. After searching in vain for a 16gb iPhone in the downtown Toronto area, my friend called up his Rogers rep and in 20 minutes the deal was done. :D

It's being shipped now and should be at my place tomorrow. So I also purchased an IS to protect it from the keys in my pocket.

I prefer the BestSkinEver shield over IS. It's the exact same material for 1/3rd the cost. I just got a skin for my mom's 80gb iPod, my iPhone, and my Nano for $22 including shipping (which was free :p). Plus the BSE skin covers the iPhone a little better IMO.

For future reference

Just ordered some new astroturf football boots. Not particularly exciting but necessary after I drove away from the pitch with my old ones on the ground outside the car!

To translate: you bought soccer cleats after you drove away from the field?

:)

I am poking fun because I am rapidly becoming the perfect size to play goalie as I would block the majority of the net.

Bought it for my custom built PC and installed the 64 bit version. I have drivers for all the hardware, and it is running flawlessly. IMO, it's much better than xp. I don't understand why people have such a problem with it either.

I use Vista x64 on my gaming rig and it's been pretty good.

It's still sluggish compared to XP, but I haven't had any crashes or anything.

Ya I dont get it either. I've been running the OEM 64bit ultimate since its release date (so nearly 1.5 years ago) and its been bulletproof. No joke but not one bluescreen or freeze. Sure the odd incompatible app like Nero 6.3 crashing, but the OS has remained fine. I run the computer for about 6 hours a day and more on the weekends.

...and people dont believe me that it feels faster than XP. Then again I have quite a bit of RAM so I'm sure that helps.
