And some new cans. Can't wait to test these out on my flight next week with the 3G.

I got this from ikea:

I'll install it tomorrow with the help of my dad...

It was definitely 10x easier to install when I assembled my desk, as it was upside down and fully accessible. Make sure you don't drill the screw holes too large, otherwise you may have a situation. Also, don't over-tighten them as some desks are not solid material. Good luck! They really are a life saver :)

my desk is really nice, it's like an inch and a half thick cherry butcher block from room and board, so I don't think I'll have problems with the not solid material. Thanks for the tips, I'm sure my dad'll have no problems putting it in, he's pretty good with that stuff. Thanks, I'll letcha know how it goes :)

LOL I got the reference but had to go back a good number of pages to finally see that I was confused as all hell!

But yes, those racks are great. Yes, I said great racks.... :p

lol, yup

refurbished 1 GB iPod Shuffle (previous gen)

for people that are unsure if they should buy refurbished or scared the product will not work, i created an unboxing set on Flickr (click the photo above).

the only hiccup was the Shuffle kept disconnecting while i was syncing … but an iPod software update saved the day :).

5-port Gigabit switch (my 24-port rackmount may look cool, but it's only 10/100)

And a miniature RC helocpter - I figured for £8.21 I couldn't go wrong!

True, but at least iTunes uses standard formats.
Using standard formats is pretty useless when you have to use proprietary software to sync them.
