Mac Pro 2.8GHz

Well i was kind of forced to buy it but I am glad I did.

Base model Mac Pro dual 2.8GHz Quad. Nothing special, but a nice bump from my now deceased(for now) PM Dual 2.5 G5, as well as 4GB memory from OWC, 2 1TB Seagate drives, Airport Extreme, and the Apple Wireless keyboard.

Purchasing:

eVGA nForce 750i FTW SLI
eVGA 9800GTX 512MB
Intel C2D E8400 (Wolfdale) @ 3.0GHz
2GB Corsair DDR2 800
:p

So what's the damage? I keep thinking I wanna build a machine, so I'm just wondering what you paid for all the goodness.

Wacom Bamboo Fun (Small). I was very skeptical because of the size, I love WACOM tablets, but have never had enough money for my own and let me tell you it was well worth it. Getting a lot of use, learning a lot, and it's easier than ever to paint digitally. :)

Well, after upgrading my iMac package in store to the Wireless MM/Keyboard for $50...I realized I miss these keys...:

...so i bought a wired keyboard. I know there are shortcuts, but its more practical to have the end, page up, forward delete, etc. And the number pad comes in handy. Also disliked the MM so also got a Logitech v470...total cost of new additions: $50 + $45 = $95 :( LOL and I have an extra BNIB wireless aluminum keyboard (for sale btw!)

Oh well, I'll try to give it as a gift...Anyways I also purchased:

for $30 off with iMac - total $89. Still on the trial, but notice I don't use it enough...I guess once the iPhone hits and MobileMe launches I will be set :D

Loving every moment of this "MacWorld"

For those parts (I already had a nice case, 600W PSU, and 2x 250gb HD's) I paid $700 before shipping and tax from Newegg. I should be getting the parts by this weekend. Personally I thought it was a great deal, considering those same CPU, video card, and motherboard are about 50 bucks more each everywhere else.

Also.. got 2gb more of that memory.. totaling 4gb.
