My (and my bro's I guess) standard Halo 3 disc was...involved in a very freak and rare accident a couple weeks ago. I've never ruined anything electronic until...that, as I'm extremely careful with my belongings. But...well ***** happens I guess.

So, I found a place where I could pick up Legendary for $45. Limited on Bestbuy.com was $40, standard was $70, and I think Legendary was down to $80 from its original $130 price. All on BBY.com. But I did one better by ordering through ProVantage.com. Ironically, I've been real into Madden '09, I'm a football guy, so I drool over playbooks, etc. Damn anxious for Gears of War 2 this November. So I preordered it....

Some muppet bought it the other week and didn't like that you had to use iTunes with it. They also then struggled to update it using their wireless connection and in a fit of rage buggered up the remote.

I picked the unit up for half-price! I hardwired it into my connection and it updated no worries......I replaced the remote, I seem to have loads of these things.....and it's working like a dream!

Even the wife worked out how to use it....it's a great little thing!

Hahaha, that was the first thing I thought! Good though that somebody is lookin' out for the southpaws... :)
LOL I got cho back! There's no sense in spending an extra dollar for something as silly as a "left handed spiral." Some ppl are waaaaaaaay too easy to take advantage of.

I'm gonna start selling left-handed pens and pencils.:p

Save a buck. Turn a normal spiral notebook over and start from the back. That's what my friend did in HS. :)

They didnt cost much more than a regular Five Star Notebook... But if a dollar is really going to put you in the poor house i suggest you don't buy them...

I hear left handed mugs and screwdrivers are also good...:D

Those left handed mugs are outstanding!! I have three and they work so much better than those dumb right handed ones! :p

It's not gonna put me in the "poor house". I just don't see the point in spending more money on something that you're gonna end up throwing away or lose by the end of the school year.

I paid nothing for it, my mum paid £90, considering the same specs on eBay cost £149 (it had 512 more RAM, but that only costs £16), I think that's good.

1.25GHz
512Mb RAM (plan on making 1Gb)
Mac OSX 10.4
40Gb HD (I plan on upgrading or getting an external one)

no clue how that much would cost in dollars lol, but i got a 1ghz in april with 10.3 but then put leopard on it and back down to tiger, it has a 40 and had 512 now 768mb no plan on upgrading since my parents use it and i put a 250gb ext hd on it and sorta use it as my itunes server thingy

Currently, £90 is Can$173/US$164.

I need an Airport card, and 512Mb RAM, but if I can find them for less than £50 I'll be happy, I'm pretty sure I can too.

I'm quite chuffed with it, I've got the eMac and the iMac, all I need is an iBook or a MacBook and I'll be pishing my pants.

I just got an Airport card for £29 (CAD$56)

RAM is ok, a 512Mb stick for £12.99(+VAT which makes it £15.26(CAD$30)) and a 2Gb stick for my iMac for £30(CAD$58).

Crucial is a good site for Mac RAM

The new cup holder is now installed in my car. At £48 it wasn't cheap, but hey, I get 3 spaces for CDs too!

I've had 3 too. I got one on holiday in a country called USA which I sold a couple of months later for profit. I then bought an official UK one. I sold that one when iPhone 3G came out for more than I paid for iPhone 3G.

I'm not doing too badly :)
