Well thank you administrative cock up!!

:) My job screwed up and underpaid me for the last 2 years. After some research they found out I was owed £3638!!!! Some will go into savings, some will pay off the credit card but the best bit of it all will go to a little treat for myself. I wanted to upgrade my dive computer, and much research has led to me spending out on my new toy!! It arrives tomorrow and I dive it in combat on Wednesday.....I am very excited!!:D

any reason why you didnt wait? not a fan of the tall nano?
Indeed. I wanted to wait until the announcements. I really like this design, and was hoping for a memory-boost or something like that. But with all the rumors of a tall Nano and the old ones usually being sold out pretty quick, I didn't want to wait. And I must say, I don't know what the new Nano will be able to do, but this fatty is just one really awesome gadget.

I too agree with you. I am not a big fan of the tall nano. I like the fatty more :D!

NICE! I really, really love the looks of that car. I definitely think it's the best looking of the muscle car offerings from the Big Three. Still, though, I'm partial to the Camaro :p

Awesome purchase, man! Any particular reason you didn't go for the SRT-8 model? ... Or was it just a $$$ thing?

Anyhoo...

I just snagged myself a new 24" iMac and Applecare!!!

is it hard to pick up for a non-traditional gamer

If you have a laptop, yes
If you have a desktop, no

It's a pretty fun game, I've got to the tribal (3rd) stage, it seems to move on from dog eat dog (or amoeba eat amoeba) to Age Of Empires (tribal part) style gaming, it's pretty good though.

Gotta read the instructions though, it's not a game you can just jump straight into, just take a minute to familiarise yourself with everything, then you're good to go...

Just bought this, and returned my recently purchased Logitech VX nano for it. The VX nano is nice overall, but it's just a little to small for my hands AND it has no middle click -- a big dealbreaker for me since I use middle-click all day long to open new tabs in FireFox. Logitech for some inexplicable reason moved the switch on the bottom of the VX Revolution (for switching between the ratcheting and free-spinning scroll wheel) to what would normally be the middle-click function of the wheel. Stupid.

So I got this LX8, which is larger, feels better, has a middle click, and is cheaper:

My NEXT purchase, hopefully, is a cheap used Intel Mac Mini.

I'm a bit confused. The VX Nano most definitely does have a middle click. What mouse doesn't? I'm guessing you just had it incorrectly mapped. If middle click isn't mapped to "command-click", it won't open tabs in Firefox.

A nice counter to all of those wristbands with positive ideas out there.
It was kind of over priced, but it was definitely worth it.
